Legendaries?

Will there be any legendaries in the game? I already searched in the wiki, but i'm going just going to ask you guys to be sure, and if there are legendaries, are they already released?

The legendaries are already coded into the game, but none are legitimately obtainable yet. The dogs should be avaliable soon hopefully, and the other legendaries should be catchable when their home areas are added.

I would think that whatever legendaries are canon to Gold/Silver would be implemented at their proper times.

Thanks guys for the answer. I'll just have to wait for the three dogs, and in the mean time i would just continue on playing
