But surely Males give something to the pokemon beside just being a breeding partner. Maybe Skill,personality traits something.

Yeah. The father usually gives something to the child. But I prefer to breed and get the female Pokémon since I can then trade it with other people since it's so cool.

True but still would like to know what the father gives out so you can have something cool and be glad with it stats and stuff.

All the Pokémon Ninetailes/Vulpix can breed with. Just press on the Pokémon you would ''want'' to breed with and lookng for ''Learnset'' in the box on the left. Somewhere below it, it should say ''By breeding'' and you can see whether or not the father passes down something upon this Pokémon. Though, this is only about moves, not sure what else it would bring upon its child. Wasn't able to find anything specific about it.

the father gives moves to the child. in my emrald I have flareon that knows sheer cold by breeding it with smeargle more proof that smeargle is one of the most boss pokemon out there

yes I had my articuno use sheer cold(battled myself on other cartridge) it missed smeargle copyed it eevee and smeargle are in the same egg group

the day I discovered breeding in 2006 on sapphire all my pokemon became OP

pokemon my friends think are cheats
HotIce(sheercold flareon)
Mr money(pay day mr mime)
squritmander(watergun charmander)
those all come from breeding(some don't work any more in the new games I had an early copy of sapphire so glitches galore)

breeding is one of the most glitch things in gen2 gen3 they fixed most in gen4 and emrald my friend was on a trip in the UK and brought me back a sapphire cartridge for my birthday cuz it hadn't been relased in America yet and if that hadn't happened I wouldnt have some glitch things that were fixed by the time it came It America

most of the glitch stuff I couldn't do until emrald came out and I got smeargle and I didn't know that mine was the most glitch prone out of all my friends and all my sapphire pokemon were treated as if they came from another nation in emrald(technacily they are) so shiny breeding rates were 1500 instead of 1800

all the conditions were for me to be a pkmn breeder so that's what I did and I haven't used a pokeball to catch anything in a while because I am a breeder!
the only thing is that it takes forever to breed pokemon and I have tried the dupe glitch in emrald but I cant do it right and in bulbapedia where it says egg cycles that's 256 steps each even with slugama its like 20 time around kanto for an eevee egg to hatch it kinda sucks...but u do get OP pkmn out of it
