Ah, gengar... I got the shiny one from the Daily give-away! > Made a deal with Slavi. (Lucky me!) I think I might give my female Gengar either Thunder or Thunderbolt. Both are really good but Thunderbolt has 5 more pp.

Lol Mine been shiny sense it was a gastly.I also have a shiny psyduck. Thinking about evoling it to golduck as well but I know i wont actually use golduck much for anything. Beside surfing.

I use my ferilgatr for that. ^^ I caught my Golduck in the water pond between goldenrod and the national park. I am lazy, I do not like lvling my Pokémon. Not when I don't use them and I know I can catch them later on in the game.

Hahahaha, I also got the Shiny Tyroque from the daily give-away on sunday I believe. Don't like it's evolutions that much, nor do they looks ''cool'' but I mgiht be able to breed it and get some shiny drowzees/abra/machops.
Also, Darkfire I am able to breed my Tyroque, not sure if intended.

Well, the vulpix ain't hard to find, just be lucky with it being shiny and wait until you get a shiny one... :/ Darkfire shiny vulpix or Shiny ninetales. Perfect suggestion. Plus make it female because the name sounds more feminine.

I think male ones are rarier then females on this species

Well, female ones are much more valuable, since if you breed them with something from the same egg group, it becomes the Pokémon of the female side. My tyroque is male, so if I breed it with a female drowzee, it becomes a drowzee and not a Tyroque.

Well.... If you think about it, both are valuable. But with a female, you'll get the same Pokémon, with a male you'll get different Pokémon. It depends on what you like, I guess.

But surely Males give something to the pokemon beside just being a breeding partner. Maybe Skill,personality traits something.

Yeah. The father usually gives something to the child. But I prefer to breed and get the female Pokémon since I can then trade it with other people since it's so cool.
