Headbutting Trees: Aipom and Heracross

So I was just on route 33 headbutting trees for Aipom and Heracross and i found an exeggcute. As far as I know, exeggcute wasn't available through headbutting trees in the original game. With that being said, how closely does Pokemon 3D follow the original game? Will I be able to find Heracross and Aipom in the mountain regions (routes 29, 33, 42, Azalea Town)?

That wasn't really the question I needed answered. As I said, I was headbutting trees on route 33 which is considered a mountain region according to the article. Exeggcute is uncommonly found in forest regions which brings me back to my original question.

also consider Pokemon3D to follow a crystal storyline, with mostly gen 2 gen 1 pokemon.
the map is based off of GSC with some aspects from HG/SS like berries and stuff

the pokemon spawn in all trees REGARDLESS of location. you'll always have a chance for the same pokemon no matter where you headbutt. please read the link i sent because it answered this question

It was uptodate as of v 0.29(needs some work now....)
Nilllzz makes random choices (like heracross being available at level 20 in those trees)
