Thanks I hope to, it seems like a nice place around here. I found out about the game/forums less than a week ago and I'm already hooked... I really should be studying for my AP classes though...

This place is really cool, and since this is the first thread where you posted. I hope you know what this thread is about.
If not, here's a quick explanation:

This thread is dedicated to the Daily Give Away Competitions which mister Darkfire set up.
Everyday (Usually.) he will give away a Pokémon on the Global Trade in Goldenrod City (If you are far enough into the story, good.)
Ofcourse, it isn't exactly ''free''. He will post on this thread and tell us what the reward is and what we need to catch and lvl for him in return of the Pokémon.
Find the Pokémon, catch it, lvl it, go to Goldenrod City Pokécenter and go to the global trade hub and be the fastest at claiming the prize.

I'm pretty familiar with everything around here already, only thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to get one of those trainer cards like in peoples signatures with their 6 starters / badges. Any idea on how to get that? And I've got 4 badges as of now, haven't done any trading but I have a gamejolt account and I looked into the trading center seeing if anyone was offering anything for cyndaquils, only to realize I have a male quilava and dittos aren't breedable yet :'(

Those trainer cards are from another site. Just search trainer cards and you could probably find it somewhere.

Planning on using a slowpoke I have to surf around and I'm either going to go with a Golduck or a Mantine if I can find one. Mantine has ridiculous special defense and I need a pokemon like that especially since my team right now focuses on special attack/speed

Hahaha, no wonder my Ampharos couldn't properly one shot them at like lvl 33.

You know a pokemon has insane special defense when you can't one shot them with a 4x type advantage haha

Well, I was only using ThunderShock, which isn't my strongest attack of my Ampharos at the lvl, so I was actually quite happy with it, since it had like 5 hp left when I used it on him. ^^

It's far from being night time in my game right now... I should really get around to capturing all the night-only Pokémon, I guess.
