The thread that was once the Daily Give Away Competition

While I agree with you, people like me, have spent a lot of time into these saves. Catching Pokémon, leveling them, evolving them, breeding them, trading Pokémon and all that stuff. To see that ''go to waste'' (It doesn't go to waste since you can still play and acces it.) is really sad. It's not the boredom that will bother me, it's the ''leaving behind'' the offline save since I'll probably be playing the online version since it has the online features and it's something you shouldn't miss out on.

Yeah, I'm the kinda person who absolutely hates losing progress in games, so this feels like a kick in the nuts for me. At least I know that, when the game's out of alpha/beta, such things won't happen anymore, so I can just wait

I am also like that, especially with Pokémon. I somehow get ''attached'' to them. I like them and don't want to lose them. Luckily I'll be able to keep the daily comp Pokémon, but they will be level 5 when I get them in Goldenrod. But hey! They will be good for my teams!

Aye... But the give-aways will probably continue and the people who won some Pokémon might be able to get them back in the next update.
We'll see how it goes. Starting all over again. :/

When we start over, we should all abuse saves to get female versions of the same starter.

Then we can flood the gts with legit starters.

As many of you by now know the current gts systemis being changed in the next update.
In going with this the daily competition will go on hold until the 2nd day after update(so if the update happens on Tuesday like planned the new competition will happen on Thursday)
This is being done to give people time to advance their story on their new "Online" saves to Goldenrod city.
That Thursday competition will be a three part competition that will happen at 2AM, NOON, and 10PM my time(central). I will request that if you win an early competition DON'T participate again that day.



Also sometime within the next week I will provide any previous prizes to the new Online only saves if I recieve a PM from that person saying they have activated the GTS.
At that time please include your gamejolt account with proper case etc.

The tree prizes are all the same Pokemon with different objectives each time.
The earlier the competition the earlier the pokemon I am looking for is available in the game

Yeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssssss.
I will be looking forward to this! I'll probably pull an all-nighter to celebrate. :3 I mean, I got holidays anyways.
I'm going to advance into the story ASAP and see how long it takes me. Probably a little while.... Luckily I won't have to defeat Whitney to get acces to the GTS, right? If so... I must catch a Phanpy on my way there!
