Solved Can Pokemon currently be encountered with Rock Smash?

Title says it all. After trying to get a Shuckle for a while, I realized that this might not be implemented yet.

I think that considering we didn't get the fishing rod and surf isn't in just yet that alternate ways of encountering pokemon aren't in the game yet aside from headbutt.

I apologize if I came across as impatient. I was simply making sure that my game was functioning as it should be due to having earlier issues with encountering wild Pokemon.

Oh gosh! I'm sorry if I came across as implying you were impatient!
I did not mean it to be like that. I typically say that just as a reminder to wait till it gets implemented.
And on these forums, a lot of people are impatient.

O wow, I guess it is implemented then. Krabby is supposed to come up 90% of the time while Shuckle comes up 10% of the time. I better get back to it.

Yup. I just had an issue where I couldn't encounter any wild Pokemon. That was then resolved by copying my save, deleting everything else and then letting the launcher download everything again. I then went to the cave and smashed some a significant number of rocks without having anything happen. Of course after posting this and having it confirmed that it does work, it immediately started working.

It's funny how that works sometimes. Whenever I'm visiting my parents, they have the same issue where their computers won't work until they call me over to fix it. Anyways, I really appreciate all of your great support.

Yes it works. I got a male and female crabby and a male shuckle. I could trade shuckle but for a non moded pokes only.
