Hey, I just wanted to know if you can breed starter pokemon with ditto? Also how do I check if someone wants to accept my trade offer and trade? If someone could help me that would be great! (Also I am trading a Kadabra [Will evolve into Alakazam when traded] for a Totodile of any level, so just say if you want to trade, my name is 'yourbone') :D

Uh... can you help me with the trading thing also? Like how do I know if someone wants to trade?

Have you uploaded the pokemon for trade yet? If so, when somebody accepts with a valid pokemon the trade will happen automatically. Your new pokemon will be there next time you check the GTS.

So, I am actually quite curious, I wish to manually evolve my kadabra into Alakazam, I mean, the trading is in there and my friend has his haunter. Perfect trade. He gets the Gengar, I get my Alakazam. And thus, I wish to know how I evolve my Pokémon.
My first thought was to change the Pokémon number in the Party file, which worked. I got my Alakazam, but the stats do not change. Do I have to change the stats myself or is this actually normal? Evolved Pokémon are stronger... so I would have guessed the stats would be better?

Reason I post it in here is because it's about trading and maybe the Poster feels like doing this aswell. ;)

Uhm.
The way I did it was by taking the base stats of the evolved pokemon (you can find them at bulbapedia) and change it's level back to 1 but with he same amount of exp points.
Then load the game. Fight one pokemon (better switch out cause its lvl 1) and win.
Your pokemon will get his lvl back with the stats of the evolved form. ;)

Ah, I will try this. ^^ Thanks a lot.
I will finally get my Alakazam! A decent one, that is.
Though, I am pretty sad that I will not be able to get a firestone until I show a Vulpix or Growlithe (I have them both.) to Bill's grandfather for Arcanine... So I'll be stuck with my Growlithe for a while then! Or they will let us talk to a certain (forgot his name) schoolboy who then will randomly give us a Firestone, but the stone itself isn't even implemented so I doubt that...

Alright, so there are 6 base stats.
Hp
Attack
Defense
Sp atk
Sp def
Speed

But when I go to my party file, I see 7 stat numbers. What is the seventh for?
For example: On my Ferilgatr > "Stats" 98,98,77,69,64,58,61
7 numbers... Do I just let the last one be the same or what does it mean exactly? D:

Yup I had the same problem, sorry I forgot to mention that
The first number is the health your pokemon has ATM and he second number is the total health.

No worries. :)
Got it all done, Alakazam is lvl 30 again and has its original stats. Though, looking at it... I think I might have made a mistake... xD

My currents stats on Alakazam are:
HP 126
Attack 79
Defense 74
Special Attack 218 (What the heck? xD )
Special defense 140
Speed 199

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Alakazam_(Pokémon)
I took these as base stats from bulbapedia:
HP:55
Attack:50
Defense:45
Sp.Atk:135
Sp.Def:85
Speed:120

Changed its level to 1 and defeated one random Pokémon and it got like 346 points...

Hmmm...
Uhm I know Alakazam has a high special attack but 218 might be a bit too much.
Let me check the site again...

Yup at lvl 50 it's supposed to be a sp at. of 205 so something went wrong with that.
I don't know what went wrong though but you can change the stat manually to lower it a bit.
I think 150 would be enough.

Yeah, thought so aswell.
I'll have to take it down a bit. :D Though, the health, atk and atk def seem pretty normal. It's just the Sp atk/def and speed that are overboard.

Edit: Changed the Sp. atk to 150, took the Sp. def down to 120 and the speed to 150 aswell. Alakazam is still pretty darn powerful.
