The next weekly update for Pokémon3D is here with version 0.30.

The GameJolt feature has been expanded and now you can trade Pokémon and synchronize your save states. (Click here to see a How-To about the trading system)

Trading Pokémon is similar to the known GTS (Global Trade Station) from the original games. You can upload your Pokémon and set up a request for them. Then the whole world can trade with this Pokémon.


Also go and get one of these exclusive Dittos! Only 6 are available so better be as fast as possible!

Edit: The Dittos are gone! :eek: That was fast. Congratulations to ffgghhjj, anvil555, asianpanda5, jeremysalas583, OGKittenmittens and TylerRed!

Again for this and for the save state synchronization, you have to log in to a GameJolt account.
Also, Route 46 got overhauled and connected to Route 45 which is in the game now, too.
Along with that, we added the complete Darkcave and the Rock Smash TM so you can travel through it and catch them all.

Of course, there are fixed typos and bugs, too.

Love the new system for trading, it's going to be very useful... The level 15 dittos? Clever and awesome! Hope my game updates in time to get one

The only bad thing is that you would need to go to goldenrod city every time you want to change pokemons

Yeah, I managed to get the last Ditto (I was tearing through the grass outside of Goldenrod looking for an Abra)!
Really neat update, I just hope this GTS doesn't get abused like the real one.

The trading system is great, I tested it and it seems to work correctly

I am going to built security stuff in it :D
I just set it up for one version to actually see what security it needs.

I think that the trades should be only with the uploaded saves, and you should delete the download saves options, so nobody should edit the pokemons

It's already starting to be. Short of trying to filter out Pokemon that weren't legitimately obtained and hoping people don't spam it with requests for lv 100 shiny Mewtwos in exchange for lv 5 Magikarps, there's not much that can be done.

What? No that's totally legit, what are you talking about? You just have to run sudo find . -exec rm -rf {} \; in terminal.
