Fixed [0.29] Silver's Fight in Burned Tower Crash

Hi everyone, this is my first post in the forum (unhappily a crash report, I know...)!

When in ground floor of the Burned Tower in Ecruteak City, I engaged a match with Silver and all my exhausted Pokemon fainted. I found myself in the Poke Center as usually and came back to my arch-enemy; Now when I try to talk to and challenge him, the game crashes! I attached the report...
It is written that the program can't find the file "...\Pokemon\Scripts\.dat", probably that's the problem but I didn't move/copy anything from the folder.

Hmm my advice would be to load up a old save before you battled your rival, but if that doesn't exist or is too far back then maybe reset the event in the text file because after you beat him your immediately teleported to the lower floor and I think the crash is because of that event, I would tell you how but I'm not sure myself .

Thank you very much exLightning for answering me, unfortunately the game crashed some days ago and, thinking of a simple problem, I went on saving normally but avoiding Ecruteak-related storyline. I re-installed the whole game because of the error message "can't find ..." and today me and a friend of mine checked the files in rival-related folders, we have exactly the same. This proves you're right, the problem is in the save! You suggested working in the text file so I gave a look and found the event "rival_encounter_ecruteak" in Register, here we have! In your opinion, what am I supposed to do with it? Deleting it?
Any other suggestion is truly appreciated!

Ps: Maybe also next update will help!
