victory tune seems louder than any other tune EX: normal battle song plays, upon victory it is substantially louder.

i dont have access to that but i played through too and this was something that kind of bugged me. when nilllzz gets around to polishing the music up more i'd get some crossfading going, the current music should fade out over like a second while the victory music starts. a lot of the changes between music would benefit from this because it'd smooth out the track change. victory music is perhaps a touch too high volume compared to the battle music though

Yeah it's just the file. I will lower the volume of it a bit if I can figure out how to this without wasting hours of work.

was gunna suggest audacity (its a free sound editing program) but it literally wont open wma, tells you it can't due to patents. must be something you can do it with out there, its usually just like effects->volume->turn a slider down a bit. another idea, does XNA's sound system let you set a volume when playing the music? can probably just be done at runtime
