Well, the game now have only 150 slots at the box. I think it has to have at least the number of pokemons that are in pokedex. If only 1Gen 151 slots. If 2Gen 251 slots... and If any other Gen, the same idea.
I`m saying that because i like to have all pokemons in the boxes, not only last evolutions.

When there are actually more Pokemon in the game, we will probably get more Box Spots.

There actually is a way to add more boxes. Open the main game folder titled 'Pokemon'. From there open the 'Save' folder and then the folder with your players name. Open the file titled 'Player' in notepad or a similar program. It should display a series of lines with information about the player like name, money, etc. Near the bottom end of the list is a line that looks like this:

BoxAmount|6

Change the number 6 to a higher number. Note that 6 is the current number of boxes in the PC. By replacing the 6 with a larger number, you get more boxes. I changed the 6 to 8 and now I have 8 boxes instead of the 6. If you change the number and the game crashes, change the number back to 6 or a lower number until the game works again to fix the problem.

Hope this helps!

I noticed this line before but i was afraid to maybe have some bug with the new box. Something like i put some pokemon in Box7 and i loose them after the update =/
Do you know if it can happen or if i am thinking too much??

I had the same thought as you so I placed Pokemon in the new boxes during an update and nothing happened to them. Unless a big change is made to the box system during an update, you should be fine. Updates do not edit your save files, they only effect the game files such as maps. If you are concerned that you will lose Pokemon, duplicate the file titled 'Box' before every update. It is located in the same folder as the 'Player' file.

If something happens to the Pokemon in the PC during an update, replace the 'Box' file with the copy you made. If that does not work, deposit five of your Pokemon in a PC and save. Copy five of the lines in the copied 'Box' file and move them to file titled 'Party' which is in your save folder. Repeat the process until all of your Pokemon from your copied 'Box' file are back in the PC. I highly doubt that your Pokemon will be deleted during an update but if something does happen this process, though it may be time consuming, should allow you to have backups of your Pokemon in the PC.

As far as i know all changes to your pokémon party , inventory and pc are stored inside the save folder under your player name those will remain untouched after each update only the content files that are released by the update will be overwritten.

Duplicate the Box before an update is a smart idea that i dind`t have before. Maybe i will do it. Thanks for helping =)

That is right sometimes. Some example are, if you created a save file in old versions, you continue to have old sprites, like red or blue, and you still have diagonal movement. The save file still the same.
I`m afraid of the number of box because to change it in your game the save file would have to be modified when update. I don`t know even if it is possible or if we gonna have to start a NewGame if we want more boxes without change files, but if it is possible it can come with a lot of problems. That is why i didn`t want to change it by myself =)
