To make testing this sort of thing faster, if you find a move bug, please save and make a copy of your save game files and zip them up and upload them. i'll be able to test it on the fights you encountered it it

if that is not possible please be as descriptive as possible about what happened
Another update, another Move Thread!

It's not a bad thing at all: the earlier these are caught the better the next update is!

Moves that need fixing so far:
-Lick does not paralyze
-Thunder Wave does damage and paralyze.
-Supersonic produces random effects or doesn't work
-Harden does damage no stat raise
-Rage does not increase in power with each consecutive hit(also missing the text that "___'s rage is building")
-Confusion, when used by an opponent pokemon(not the players), confuses both pokemon

nilllzz a lot of these moves persisted through the previous version, with no change whatsoever

For all posters. Make sure to check the wiki before posting a move to see if it's implemented. If it isn't then it is just a place holder and won't do anything.

Here's the link:

And I will officialize this thread as the broken moves thread again......

Supersonic gives no notification if it works, and doesn't do anything if it does.

I think it actually burned a Stantler once, but I haven't been able to reproduce it.

Haha so supersonic is still on the fritz? At some point people are gonna get used to "randomsonic" and accept it for what it is haha

What about all the moves in the other thread that still doesn't work? Shouldn't they be included aswell? Also, Thunder Wave is already fixed, Nillzz just needs to get a hold of a working copy of the script:p

Fisherman
Also Stealth Rock doesn't seem to work
EDIT: Just looked at the wiki and it isn't on the movelist, placeholder?

for now we have to start on a new slate because i as one trainer cannot reconfirm each of those moves in the previous version. also it is to be assumed that all those moves are fixed until proven broken

Outrage does not work properly, just attacks once & does not confuse, just like a regular attack.

Just seems like a lot of double work to me, since attacks which have already been reported broken will have to be reported again. But if that's the way it will be done, I guess that's that.

The thread you refer to is for version 0.28.2.
Since this is a major update from 28 to 29.

It is expected that the moves reported for 28 should be fixed. The fact that this is .29 voids anything from .28 because a new version usually means that all problems in the previous are fixed. If the update was for 28.4 instead of .29, this thread wouldn't exist and the .28 move thread would still be valid.

Yes it might mean that there's some backtracking involved, but that's how the threads have to work.
When 29.1 comes out. This thread will still be valid
