Hey, I am wondering how to get your eggs to hatch faster, because I have too many eggs and not a lot of time to walk around.

if you have a pokemon with the ability heat body 1 eggcycle counts as 2

The earliest pokemon with Heat Body would be Magmar in the lower part of brass tower, but since neither Ecruteak or abilities are implemented just yet, you can't get an egg to hatch faster.

aside from modifying your eggsteps in the files, i recommend just walking up and down straight through goldenrod a couple times

I think when the game gets finished and I go on my 2nd playthrough with totodile i'll go and pick up a magmar

i did a playthrough of Classic Gold on my GameBoy color. and started with typhlosion, it was nice having a fire pokemon right off the bat because they're quite rare.

This time around i wanted to do totodile because he becomes a tanky strong water type, so ive gone to explore the other fire types of the game. i've settled on growlithe

Growlithe is a really good fire type, but wait to evolve it to arcanine it learns flamethrower at level 39 which if you evolve it to arcanine and gets to level 39 it learns extremespeed instead
