my mate showed me the gambling game in goldenrod in hg/ss and its a doozy. kinda like picross or something except the mines from minesweeper are everywhere. once i got what all the numbers were on the board i started to get better but i've only had the patience to get to level 3 so far. how far have you guys got? any wicked sick voltorb flip tips?

before i had a go with it my mate had never finished a game of it lol.

It's been a long time since I played any Soul Silver, but I've gotten to the last level of the flip game several times and racked up a good number of coins. Gotta get 2100 for that Dratini. In the original, I was so inept at the gambling mechanics, I just sold everything I had to buy coins for my Dratini.

But if I remember correctly, you use the numbers on the rows and columns to try and guess the chances of there being a voltorb unter the tile you flip. I may be way off, but that's how I remember it.

ya, first numbers coins 2nd numbers voltorbs and work out from what you know what cards are least likely to be voltorbs and likely to be 2's and 3's.
