Solved Gastly unable to learn Thunder

After making it to Golden Rod ( Which looks amazing) I brought Thunder(TM.25) from the top floor of the department store (Which looks super amazing too with the glass floors!!) and I wanted to teach it to my Gastly but was unable to, Of course before buying it I looked online as to which Pokemon could learn the move just in case none of mine could but it said Gastly is able to in Generation II, Any help with this? I really want to teach him Thunder.
I have the current version (0.28.2)

The game is going from gen 5 movepools & Gastly can't learn Thunder in gen 5, but it can learn Thunderbolt when you can aquire it.

Ah ok thanks since it was based off the Gen 2 Gold/Silver/Crystal version I was assuming it would follow the same move-pools but I guess its not completely the same, Oh well I guess I'll have to find Thunderbolt somewhere.

Hehehe messed around with the codes a bit and Ta-Da Gastly is able to learn Thunder :3
