When I saw "life" I thought creation. Birth. Time. Something more along the lines of Mew, Celebi, Ho-Oh, Arceus

I don't talk about Gen 5. It doesnt exist in my mind.

Yea lotsa legendaries but for me the one and only legendary is Ho-oh, not only because he is a bird type ^^, but because Ho-oh is the one which posseses the power of life. The true ruler of all Pokemon.

Arceus being badass and shit, saying he created the world, but can be stopped by a ten year old boy.

Ho-oh doesn't. The only time this '10 year old' sees Ho-oh is in the very first Pokemon episode evah. (or maybe one more time in Ecruteak City but Im not sure)

He also appeared in a flashback. Though i don't know much on that one.

The flashback was right before the Silver conference
Ho-oh also has minor appearances in the beginning sequences for many of the movies
