Don't know much about Pokemon, but I think Lavender town would be pretty cool, but maybe add a few tweaks to the music so people wouldn't get :dead: you know?

You can get to Lavender Town through hacking.
But, Lavender Town is in the Kanto region, and we are making Johto at the moment.
Kanto will be put in after Johto

You can do it now, you just have to do it through hacking. The legitimate Lavender town wont be in for months.
I'll just wait until the legit Lavender Town. Is P3D getting optimized soon? Sorry it's a bit off topic, but my game's slow.
Ugh. I sure do hope so. I'm in a different "department" than the engine or the render system.
You can change the graphics, turn off offset, and turn off bobbing to increase speed though :/

i was experimenting with writing shaders so we can tailor it more to our engine, i had everything drawing in batches and it was running fantastic but some unwanted objects were appearing. also my graphics card died and when i went to test it i found it won't launch with my shaders even though i can launch the official build. :\ i was only using shader model 2 as well which makes the onboard graphics im using Really Bad

because i wasnt able to perfect it i'm going to try phasing in optimizations. the first is probably going to be rotating the billboards with vertex shaders instead of recalculating a world matrix for every single tree and clump of grass every time the player turns the camera. this should take a lot of load off the cpu and make offmaps run better. i'll be playing with it more when my computer is fixed. such a way of drawing billboards is implemented on my custom build right now but before i put it in the main game's code i have to make it work with dynamic lighting from the sun/moon which was implemented a patch ago.
