Make old starter pokémon appear in the wild

Just want old starter pokémon like pikachu and bulbasaur to be able to be caught in the wild, even though it's not a starter anymore I'd still like to catch these please.

They'll be implemented, well, Pikachu is implemented but there is no catch area yet as we aren't THAT far into the game.

Bulbasaur is uncatchable, if you want it you need to cheat the Pokémon into the game.
I've thought about suggesting to implement a time, date and a certain area to catch these old starters. Like a once in a week quest to a cerain area (Which changes each week.) where you will have a x% of chance to find the Pokémon. It sounds like it could work. Maybe something like the way you catch Lapras.

In the original game you can catch 1 lvl 40 Lapras in the Union cave every Friday. Only 1 Lapras will appear, so if you ''kill'' the lapras you'll have to wait a week. But to catch the starters will be a little harder, like a lower % to find him, hard to catch, because they are RARE Pokémon after-all.

If it is like in HG/SS, you will be able to choose from the original starters after you defeat Red. To get all 3 however, you need to trade with other people.

I can't wait untill this game is fully updated and we can fight Red, will be a harsh battle...

OT: So... I will have to choose which Pokémon I will get... Ermh, either Charmender or Squirtle. I'm sorry bulbasaur.

I'm also really curious as of how we are going to go to other regions, will we start over again? Will we take a boat or train into the new region and have a different story then if you would start over again.

After the GSC / HGSS story is finished, the staff have stated that they would add more content to make people interested in playing. If this is by adding more regions, or just new custom events of some sorts, I do not know. We'll just have to wait & see.

You could yourself put them into the wild
the files are in the maps folder of the folder where the launcher folder

tell me how i can put them in please, and love this game just hope they move away a bit form the gameboy style and that they make it short and sweet when you go to heal your pokémon rather than waiting for the girl to finish her sentences. will your mod keep the 2 games separate ?

oh one more thing how can i edit my charter more ? i see people have random charters or do you edit it in game later on ?

you need to edit the .pokes in the /pokemon/maps/poke/ folder
each pokemon is set up by:
{type of encounter|pokenumber|chance|times of day|low lvl,high lvl}

the types of encounter are:
0 - regular grass
1 - Headbutt trees

times of day are
-1 - all
0 - night
1 - morning
2 - day
3 - evening

i am not sure what you are asking in the second part

to edit your prite you need to goto /pokeon/saves/<save name>/player.dat and change the
Skins|~~~~ to the name of a file in
/pokemon/content/textures/NPC/

the last part of my previous post meant that when i jam on your mod will i still be able to play one the normal pokémon 3d game or will the overwrite it ?, and how would i know which number represents which pokémon ?

yeah
as of now you download my mod and run it separately
eventually you will download it and put it somewhere in the normal folders and the activate it like a content pack

the nubers are the national pokedex numbers(atleast in the main game)
(ie: bulbasaur = 1, ivysaur = 2, etc)
