This is a very small suggestion but it's something that would make things go just a little bit faster for people using the shift style of battle instead of set.
Since the 'e' button is used for escaping menus, it should act the same way as the 'b' button on a handheld.
For the shift playstyle the game asks if you want to change pokemon after one is defeated, enabling the e button to do a quick exit saves time (lol are you lazy jon just use the arrow keys and move the option to no) even though doing this would probably save like 2 seconds, it really keeps the flow of battle constant for me.
So just consider it, treating the e button as the b button
