On that note if someone wants to come up with an event for missingno i will be willing to script it for them and create patches to download

i really didnt think that dev would consider putting the effort for MissingNo.

well i guess peoples determination will make anything happen.
if this was tumblr i'd be "so done with this site".

but seriously the fact that this thread turned a no into a yes is mind boggling

I was thinking it could be triggered later in the game (perhaps by using the same method in the original Pokemon Red game) so I don't think it would be able to be fully implemented until later. But maybe it could be tested by adding it to the top of Bellsprout Tower after defeating the Goldenrod City Gym Leader.

I'm guessing the whole glitchy battle sequence would be left out, though?
