Starting Trainer
So whenever I lose my internet connection the game makes me re-download it and when I open it I don't have my previous save and have to start over. Has this happened to anyone else?

The internet connection shouldn't have anything to do with your game play or save file. When you downloaded it, did you save it anywhere on your computer, or did you just click "Open"? Because you should have saved it. To find it on your computer, open the start menu and type pokemon3d into the search. If you dig around enough, you may be able to find your old save file.
