Fixed [0.25] Tm's disappear on difficulty 2 even when not used

So I just bought Fire Punch from Goldenrod City Department store. I used the Tm on my Ampharos, but decided not to have it learn the move yet. But even though i never taught Ampharos the move, the TM still disappeared from my Inventory.

Same thing happened with Tyhplosion and Fury Cutter when I decided not to teach it the move.

I can provide pictures if neccesary.

That honestly sounds right. You used the TM, it's not the game's fault you decided to USE the TM to learn a move but not ACCEPT it. You should really check that kind of thing out before hand.

I meant it would be nice if the game took that into account, but it doesn't seem like it's a bug.

Are you really sure that is the intended effect? I don't remember this ever happening in the games. Actually I am pretty siure it didnt happen in the games. It is absolutely ridiculous for the TM to be consumed if you did not actually teach the move to the Pokemon.

I don't think I ever used TMs in the games and it has been a while anyway so I can't confirm. I said it sounded right, but I don't know.

I just tested this in Pokemon White and the TM i choose did not disappear when I decided not to teach it to a pokemon.

well....in b/w the tm never disappears so.....
try it in gen 4

Sadly, I no longer have any save data for Diamond, so I can't check. I was hoping Heart Gold would do, but i'm having a similar problem with that
