error: startindex can't be less than zero

i get this error message everytime i try to open it using the launcher.
it was working fine for 2 days and then that error popped up.
i have xna and framework installed.
if anyone can tell me how to solve it without losing my save, i will be greatfull

no, i just closed my laptop and opened it again.
but i recognized that the problem is in my "Save" file because when i replaced it with my sister's, it worked fine, then i tried putting my "Save" file again and start the launcher, the same error popped up, what can i do ?

Sounds like you got a ttacked by the ninja line
open your party.dat file and check if there is an extra empty line at the bottom
also check the item.dat file

i opened the party and it was ok, no lines
but the items.dat had NOTHING in it, just nothing, is that normal ?

it is for when you get items...so i believe that should be okay
but just to be safe lets put a pokeball in there
{5|1}
insert that and make sure there are no other lines in the file

i inserted what you said and i was sure there was no lines, but it still didn't work

One of the .dat files for your save has a space in it. Try finding it.

none, all of them don't have spaces, looks like i will have to delete that save
