Evolution Stones in the Goldenrod City Market

I really wanna do that, but when a Pokemon evolves, its stats increase with it. So just editing my Pokemon up a form will be much less powerful than they should be, unless I can figure out how to change his stats accordingly as well ( i dont wanna be a cheater and make them too high)

If you then level it up it should fix itself, it will just show some unusually large increases on the level up screen.
