I don't always agree with the majority, and some of the suggestions in the "approved but not implemented" make me nervous even though they make others excited.
I would like a checklist of options at the beginning of a new game that would allow one to choose which features outside of the typical pokemon experience they want to use for example;
I like the idea of hidden bases in Johto and and a minimap, but I think "perks" are contrary to what pokemon is all about.
A theoretical person may want a more classical experience without perks, quests, maps or anything else, beyond just being in Johto in 3D.
Some one else may want to play a game with all the new bells and whistles and That's exactly what they would get.
This way everybody get to play the game they want to play, yes?
