so what you are saying it is bad to add new features to the game?

What I'm saying is that it goes against the point of the game. We're not recreating pokemon altogether, this is a reinterpretation of the pokemon games that's available free off the computer.

The general philosophy is:

Don't try and fix something that isn't broken.

The game isn't broken as it is. Changing the core mechanics like HM's would do more bad than good

Also most of the things you would consider "new" or adding to the game, can be found in the mods section. This is where you can see people creating new storyline or in Darkfire mod he changed the types of some pokemon and evolutions.

I'm not saying its bad, I mean you should def check it out (shameless advertising) but it is separate from the game and doesn't impact the vanilla model in anyway
