Haha yeah you were clearly well prepared for it. Problem is not all of were when we first battled her when we were 12. The reputation stuck I guess.

haha its all about strategy. and i basically just use whitney's strategy against her, just roll out to kill the weaker pokemon and then eventually it kills the strongest in one shot.

Managed to get off a paralysis. Then I just Growled at it till it left me alone o-o... And then I threw sand in its face and splashed it with leaves till it didn't care anymore.

Personally I found her Miltank to be REALLY hard but luckily my golem pulled thru in a pinch.

Whitneys power is OVERRATED!!!
Seriously, I have been wondering why so many people were talking about her like she was supposed to be special in some way. I did some reading and found out that she was apparently supposed to be REALLY strong, yet I don't recall having difficulties fighting her when i played through Pokemon Gold years ago.
So after I found out i was thinking "Yeah alright, seems like she is alot stronger than I expected, maybe the Gym battle will actually turn out to be interresting".....
As if.....I crushed her just like I do any Gym Leader, her Pokemon both held out for like 1 more round than what I was used to...but that was it. Power is nothing against more power and strategy

You can obtain just about any Pokemon by editing the gamefiles, in this case either the party.dat file or the box.dat file. I imagine this is how Tim got a Golem, as it is currently the only way.

Yes Xane, this is how I got my Golem. I also got an arcanine and a poliwrath this way

GASo how do you hack the game?
Changing your pokemon is quite easy- Just do this:
1. Go to http://pokemon3d.net/wiki/index.php?title=List_of_Pokémon
2. Find the number of the pokemon you want!
3. Go to your party.dat under your pokemon file
4. Find the pokemon in your party that you want to change like "{"Pokemon"[58]}"
5. Confirm that's it's the right pokemon using the pokelist from step 1
6. Change the number to the pokemon you want like {"Pokemon"[59]}
7. Save your party.dat
8. Open Pokemon3D and your new pokemon will be in your party and the one you replaced will be gone.
9. HAVE FUN HACKING! (Though it's not REALLY hacking...)
OH - BTW - you can't go past the number 251 when changing pokemon because the game only allows kanto and johto pokemon! Don't forget to like my comment if this works for you!

Try putting difficulty on 2. It increases their lvl's When I fought her she had a clefairy lvl 20 and miltank lvl 22. Fearly she kept using hyper potions like crazy. Try that out and tell me if it helps you feed the urge to have a challenge.
