I don't think so, but they might be. In the manga Lance came from viridian, but in the game Im pretty sure he came from Blackthorn. No idea on that one.
I personally think Whitney and Bugsy would be appropriate.

1. They do a secret battle every so often, they invite Pika to judge.
2. I think Whitney is a kid, only because she cries when she loses.
3. I was told by Murkrow. They train together in the Dragon's Den, I asked Murkrow to see what was going on between them, he came back and told me once Lance had his back turned, Claire blushed.
