Solved IP Address

So I want to join games with my friend but it asks for an IP address and I don't know what that is... sooooo any help? Thnx!

If you need to play with someone outside of your LAN, you can use two method:

[faq=3][/faq]

If instead you only need to play with a friend inside your local network, you can retrieve your local IP address by doing this:

1. Click Start
2. Type cmd and press enter
3. Once the command prompt is open, type ipconfig

Now you can see your IP address stated under the voice IPv4 Address.

If it doesn't show all of your connection devices, try to enter "ipconfig/all" instead of "ipconfig"

Hi IP address is nothing but the internet protocol address assigned to your computer by your ISP .There are two types of Ip address .Internal ip or system ip and external ip or network ip.If you want to find your system ip then follow this step .
Go to start---->run---->cmd--->type ipconfig
IF you want to find your network ip address then visit Ip-Details.com

Now, what if, by chance two computers were on the same network, behind the same router? Both external IP show up as the exact same IP address... Trying Hamachi results in an "Unable to connect to (insert IP here)" error message withing the Pokemon 3d client. Tried pinging the computers in both directions and on one IP I get a Timed Out error. Should internal IP work at this point? (They don't)

The idea is to be on the same network
since you are already on the network together just get the IP address for the network and use that

You can connect without being on the same network using the external ip. You have to port forward though.

Before you even attempt to scan Port 15124 make sure your game has launch/open the coop connection. A port stays closed until it's in use, even if you port forwarded it.
