Make sure you didn't accidently make a new empty line in the party.dat file, that will cause the game to crash when you try and load your game. Alternatively, maybe you made a mistake when editing the file. Upload the file here so we can take a look

A picture???...well, you could press print screen and save the file in paint but.....just upload the dat file. I can check to see if there is any errors in it.

You are editing the pokedex.dat
you need to edit party.dat

There is an "upload a file" button right beside the "post reply". Just use that. If you can't upload, the .dat file, then open the file, save a new copy of the file as a .txt file and upload that.

I see the problem; you have an empty line after your last Pokemon. Also, there are several spaces at the end of the last pokemon.
