Not Able to Play at All

Everytime I use the launcher to load up the game its gets to the "Monogame" screen and never moves on. After a minute or so if I click the game it says not responding and brings up the not responding window. Any help is appreciated.

Ensure that you have the other requirement, .NET Framework, installed as well.
