Very well, let me explain it as best as possible.

Whenever I post a new lottery, I attempt to close up the previous one in a spoiler so that new users don't think it's active. Unfortunately, whenever I do so (surround the main lottery part below the winner announcement with one layer of spoiler tags), the post saves as a bunch of separate spoiler tags that are split apart. My only guess is that I hit a character limit per spoiler so the site automatically decided to make several additional spoiler tags and split them up. It's possible to manually remove the extra spoiler tags via editing to reduce the overall count (like you did earlier), but the character limit/glitch will still happen, resulting in there always being at least a few extra spoiler tags that can't be gotten rid of without editing the actual content of the post.

You should know this yourself; you tried to edit my post to fix it. You got rid of about half of the spoiler tags, but there's still way too many. This is why I don't bother with fixing it myself; the site automatically reverts the edit part-way.

I honestly don't know how else I can explain this. It's been happening since 2013 and I'm honestly surprised you're just now bringing it up.
