when you talk to your pokemon you should be able to have a few options of things to say too it.

It would be nice if when you talk to the pokemon that the camera does not zoom, this would avoid some glitches and I think better, I think the character should look in 1st person the status of pokemon.

Nice I like. It would be nice if your pokemon responses to it as well. Depending on what you said and what nature it is. Also effect the friendship of it.for instances if you said something bad. It lowers your friendship and the pokemon response in a negative way.If you say something good. It raises your friendship and your pokemon response in a positive way. Also it would be nice to have it effect battle outcomes. like if you said something positive to a pokemon before battle. It does better. But if it was bad. It does poorly.Also the boost can be limited to how long you walk. like every so and so number of step the pep talk wore off.

This idea actually sounds really good : O, Like if you say the correct thing the lead pokemons stats are increased by 10% and if you reply badly its decreased by 10% , But of course you would need to limit how fast you can do this and everyone would know the correct responses after a few tries , Maybe after X amount of steps a little text window will pop up saying" "Pokemon's name" looks like He/She/It (Depending on Gender or Genderless) wants to tell you something..." Meaning it is ready for a talk.

Pretty much tho it will be base on nature tho. So there would be like 4 responses and random. But only one is the correct response for that nature type.

If it's based on nature, maybe it could be something like: Jolly pokemon react well to being played with, Brave and Bold pokemon like to be challenged to do their best, and Quiet and Gentle pokemon like being hugged for example.

Yea kind of like that but with 4 options and only the correct answer will give otu a boost.
