I've been playing for a good number of years (since I was 8, maybe?), and know most pokemon's types by sight. I tend to train my pokemon depending on who I like, not for type advantages.

Super Nerd or Scientist. Mainly cuz I could get to use the Zubat family. They are just handy when leveling low lvl pokemons. Show a face in battle and change to a leecher. Boom, no HP lost.
