I did a few things with my files like my player file and overworld sprite files. I also edited a few base stat values for certain Pokemon. I copied a Pokemon overworld sprite file and pasted it in the player skin folder and edited my player file to play as that skin. But anyways, the question I have is: If I update Pokemon 3D for a future update, will my edited files be lost or will the update keep any edits I made to the files? And will future updates keep the files open so that players can freely continue to edit some files? I know it seems unfair in a sense but I feel it makes the game more fun in some ways to be able to customize to your liking. Not so fun if you are doing it to speed up progress or god mod but then again, it's the player's choice, and perhaps later on there can be a filter of some kind on multiplayer mode to prevent players from using Pokemon that have modded stats, abilities, moves, etc. Multiplayer would only allow the natural Pokemon data files, but still allow one player gamers to use the altered Pokemon data, and backups of the regular data can be kept to use on multiplayer.
