Considered Attack Animations

While I like the quickness of the game, I kinda miss the animations of the attacks. How about animating the Pokemon along with the moves, depending on whether they're Attacks or Special Attacks. Might be a tall order, considering the vast number of attacks, but it would make the game SO much better.

I agree. Without move animation and sounds, battling feels very flat, boring and blank.

However, I am certain they're going to be implementing them in later when they have more time. It's just a matter of waiting

Nillzz has previously confirmed that animations will be ingame....eventually....
its not a major priority right now
the dev team is working right now on getting a finished story and cleaning up the modding system and that is sapping the majority of their time
expect a few animations every so often until nillzz decideds that everything else is good and starts doing alot(or someone else on the dev team

im trying to make this easier to do but i havent had time yet. making all these attacks animate soon is a tall order regardless, it takes a lot of time to get them right

i'm more worried about the fact that there are still attacks that don't exist in our game yet. there are also no abilities which makes team building a bit boring.

Could someone in the community try and make animations? You could divide the tasks to people who wanted to, thus freeing up more time.

it is impossible right now. that was one of the first things i wanted to mod when i was a modder. to make it moddable there has to be some major structural change to how these attacks work. don't worry, i'm on it.
