"Invalid start parameter!..." (0.53.2)

"...Please start the game from the launcher." it said right after I launched it from the launcher.... Somethings up.
Using Window 10 (64-bit) Home version - first time launching the game since upgrading from a Windows 7 and I had to reset it due to hardware configuration errors that made the computer crash regularly.
If I need to re-download this, that's fine, but is there a way to save my save data?

(as a side comment, if this is the wrong forum, I'm sorry. This is where the launcher took me after clicking on "I need help, the game is not working correctly"

If you're playing an online save, then your save is on the Gamejolt servers. Offline I haven't played in a long time, so I don't remember where that's saved. My best guess for offline would be somewhere inside the launcher's folder, probably under saves or something, or in Appdata/Roaming/Kolben Games/Pokemon3D, probably also in a save folder or something.

Offline save is stored inside the Pokemon folder where the launcher is.
