For the last couple of days I have been working on better textures. All the texture will be based on the classic textures.

I'm not sure if shadows will ever be add to the game, so I went ahead and added shaded textures to create false shadows. If there is a better way to shade one side of blocks or if you're interested in helping me let me know because editing the maps to have shadows is a long process.

Shaders are already possible with the current maps to create the shadows for buildings just that in the editor they might look messed up while in game it looks fine.

how much time will take to make a 3d model? A month or 2? I'm only curious.:)
expertise none of us have, and a lot of time to do animations and skins that don't look awful. the original games give us a lot of premade 2d art ready to go

one day i'd like for content packs and mods to have 3d models for stuff but thats reeeeally low priority.

also, OP, don't use polls like that please
from the rules page: http://pokemon3d.net/help/terms
Polls:
  • Don't over use them
  • Don't use them for no reason
  • Don't use them for "Did you like this thread?", "Is this game awesome?" or "Did you like my work?" type of threads
  • Use them when they are needed.
