Actually catching mew resembles that event on pokemon Emerald (If you ask if i spent too much time on the wiki then... i do, why do you ask?) where you travel to Faraway Island to catch it, you do not catch it on Kanto/Johto, Jirachi is not related to the main plot and does not appear in the region of Pokemon S/R/E and is obtained via event too, Volcanion is an unreleased poke not related to the region it lives
I was talking about the "Method" of obtaining mew, not the actual location.
Jirachi was not obtainable in any game without special events and FYI, Jirachi was not my point, the new exclusive location to P3D "Ancient ruins" is what I was talking about.
as for volcanion, my point stands, and that is volcanion is not a kanto/johto legendary pokemon, however, you can catch it in kolben's gamemode.

MY point is that you don't have to implement new regions so you would be able to add new pokemon or legenadry pokemon, the dev team can put them wherever they see fit.
I don't understand why are you even arguing these points as they are simply examples to my main point.
I find the new exclusive locations to this game to be a lot more fun and interesting than the ones copied from the original games.
It adds Variety, also, some people likes collecting pokes.
that's exactly what I was pointing, you don't have to add new regions to add variety, in next version for example, we're going to have many new features that add tons of variety with no new regions included.

It is not part of the vanilla gamemode, which means that i have to capture all the pokes EVERY... SINGLE... TIME... i play in a non-main (non-vanilla) gamemode (Petty much the reason i do not buy pokemon games any longer, catching them all over again, then all over again, rinse and repeat)
I don't understand, Do you like catching pokemon or not? the game does not force you to catch every single one of them. If you want to do it, you do it, that's the only reason to do so.

If you guys are seriously not gonna implement that then please take it out, given that you have implemented so many pokemons from all the generations turns it into a deluxe bait for new players expecting to travel to other regions inside the vanilla gamemode
All Generations and Regions
Pokémon 3D will in the future have support for all generations of pokémon. And all the regions will be accessible in the game.
That is what the main page says, "In the future", No specific date and no specific details on the how.
There's a difference between "Pokemon 3D" and "Kolben Gamemode" and you have to understand that difference before asking to change anything on that page.
The game is currently in the indev state, it goes Indev>Alpha>Beta>Full release, always keep in mind that you're on the early access version of the game.

Since you are not taking about the point i made emphasis about, it means that you seriously expect the development of the game to end when all the necessary pokes and zones are implemented locking the players in Johto and Kanto forever.
Oni-Zero said:
also adding new regions would be a good way to implement the rest of the pokes and legendaries since there would be more space to do it and also places to obtain the mega stones
That was the point you emphasized and that is what I was talking about. like......we already have a few suitble locations to add mega stones to in kanto and johto, and will probably add them there when mega evolution gets implemented.

Last but not least, Nothing is set in stone, Anything can change at any moment, today there are no new regions, tomorrow (Boom) 5 new regions just because...

The idea would basically be removing the entire team of the player, as well as its box, and give him or her a new starter and new set of boxes, as well as making them unable to access previously acquired pokemons unless they get back to a previous region, or beat the league in the actual region he's in?
I like that idea.
As much as you like it, it has its flaws; you would have to also limit trading between players and wondertrade to "channels" that would work only in the region you would be in, and in a fashion players who would've finished said region can't trade with the people who haven't yet. And that seems like a hell to code :dead: (And about the GTS, if someone would go that far just to cheat his way through a region, he doesn't have to complain he'd be literally trying to rush things and not have fun).

Totally agreeing. Nobody knows what's in the future, but I like to make some suggestions just to share my thought on the eventuality.

Or what you could do is to let you choose a pokemon you want to b

It is easy to code those stuff. Only thing is... will it happen? I don't know... Nilllzz have been doing things differently lately and I cant guess what is coming next.

Don't the original games allow you to trade any pokemon very early in the games? why would P3D be any different? it's not really cheating if you trade in level 100 pokemon just to finish the story, it is just a matter of perspective on what is fun and what is not which differs from a player to another. what is fun for someone can be boring to another. I don't believe locking the trade is a good idea, we shouldn't force one play style over the rest.

How about do it PokeMMO style, so all your pokemon are in the box, but they won't necessarily obey you without the badge. So people have a choice if they want to carry pokemon over etc.

Instant reject as the game do not want to be MMO.

Your wish failed terribly. Nope, I don't think you will like it.

Yeah, this is indev version anyway, resetting stat could happen anytime. We, the player, actually just playtester of the game until at least its beta.
