Can't Host Server/PC Doesn't Give Option To Host

Hey, my problem is that I am not able to host a server. I have connected my server to Hamachi and I am able to get onto my server myself, on the actual server, not LAN...but when my friends try to connect, they get a message like "You tried to connect to the server but the host did not accept your data" or something along those lines. Also, my PC doesnt give me the option to host a server, it just asks if I want "to view Mystery Events" Please help as I have looked everywhere for help, blogs videos and all, and no one seemed to have this particular problem. PLEASE HELP!!!

In-game PCs no longer give you the prompt to connect a server, you now need to connect through Port Forwarding.

I use Hamachi though and I made a network and everything and my friend is on it, and I also put the Hamachi ipv4 in the properties file, sometimes when it's polling the server doesnt even show up for my friend, but it does for me
