Is it just me or are Legendaries becoming out of hand?

Well as a pokemon fan, I played 1 to 4. I never tried black and white I wanted to but I can't since the economy and whatnot. I simply don't think pokemon is having so much pokemon is too much. Think of it this way, they are animals and living objects or whatever. Surely there are bounds to be plenty more and limitless like digimon and comparing digimon's number of digimon...let's just say data is alot more if you include the virus type digimon, data, and vaccine especially if you want to buy the cards and they're alot more than pokemon standands of numbers believe me...I seen alot and some are just a different color to each of their own like pokemon's shiny for example. I happen to love digimon and pokemon btw and many others that are varied to them like Monster Rancher.

I've always wanted to play an actual 3d rpg game of pokemon console(Yeah I know there's the two black sheep of pokemon). And the graphics doesn't seem that bad at all on x and y, the pokemon? They just look like pokemon to me nothing else. The creativity? I mean we have like various frogs, we have various of foxes, deers and whatnot. So why not have some animals that already been done? Fennekin may look like a fox but it also seems like a fennec too. So what we have another frog type pokemon, We have many frogs too. The answer is: give the game a chance. I'm willing to play this as a pokemon fan. There have been some people wanted to play this game bad. And I don't blame them, the visuals seem great and the enviroment seems nice. I understand the people's views of the x and ys are different here and seen a few of my friends prefer the old gen, then more props to everybody to enjoy the older generations. Yes I admit they need to remake the 3rd gen like they did for the 1st gen. I agree that everyone is entitled to people's opinion. If people don't want to play x and y then it's your choice.

While I may like the 2nd gen and the 4th gen better. I probably think 5th gen would be one among my favorite gen pokemon too. I'm not saying all of them aren't as great but they're pretty memorable too. When I got to play pokemon silver and crystal. I got excited that they have the day/night time. It seems abit realistic in pixal standards especially when they got animated in crystal(plus choosing the gender of your character). When 2nd gen introduces the dark type pokemon; I thought they're pretty cool in my opinion, while dark types still are limited in that game, I still loved it nonetheless. 4th gen includes the day/night time not only that they introduced the physical and range attacks of the battle systems. It always bothered me which attacks are sp. atk and which are atk while some tend to be obvious but I enjoy this system that it doesn't matter what type you're using like 3rd gen where it gets a bit confusing like example dark types are sp. atk. This system makes much more sense. Those are the reasons I liked 2nd gen and the 4th gen to my opinion, and of course I love most of all pokemon regardless.

Honestly, I didn't like many of the Gen 3 Pokemon, but I loved some like Ralts and it's evos (for Spirit my Gardevoir). Some like Tropius were alright, but others like the Regi trio were just a little too weird.

Palkia and Dialga were ok...but after Garatina and the rest came in, it was too much.

Agreed, even some of the Pokemon are getting out of hand, like Spiritomb, Pokemon were meant to resemble Animals, not some demonic spirit thing. (Not offending Spiritomb, it's OP as hell)

Oh come on Spiritomb isn't that bad if you're into scary movie and Freak Zombie ghost plant looking things

maybe, but seriously... they also have a radio pokemon....a jukebox......ice cream cone.. really?......they are definitly running out of ideas....

A pile of slime (3 actually), a mud puppet, a pokeball with eyes ...I dont think the new pokes are much worse

I think Game Freak can do what they want with Pokemon and loads of Gen 1 werent really animals either

I think Gen 1 and 2 were the most creative, some of the later Gens were good, just most of them had no originality.

Yeah, I was a huge fan of the older games, I did like some of the newer ones, (mainly the Mystery Dungeon series) but others like rumble were just not in my interest.

On a serious note : I dont see why so many people have problems with the new pokemon not being like the old Pokemon ,wouldnt that mean that they didnt have any new ideas?
