Well, in my opinion, they should stop adding more pokemon to the series. But that doesn't mean they should stop making pokemon games. I can't remember any of the 5th gen pokemon names.
Oh and I think they run out of ideas. Just look how similar they are:

Agreed besides Considering the 10th Anniversary was a few years back I'd expect us to at least go till we hit the 1000 Mark... Hell as crazy as it is at least it would force them to become a little more creative & Inventive as some complain but 9000 Something would be fun to see Say by the 25th or 30Th Anniversary XD. Then we could use the old OVER 9000! Joke on it XD

The amount hasn't been confirmed yet. Its merely been Hinted at between 660-700

Though in theory it could be more like between 670-800 plus

We've got too many pokemon and that's a fact. I'd rather see a reboot of the pokemon franchise than another game with 200 more pokemon. I still remember the slogan "Gotta catch 'em all", but trying to catch them all is pretty tedious today.

I can answer this in 1 sweep : Pokemon Colosseum & Mystery Dungeon are Spin-Offs and B/W2 were just like Platinum so not really a new game...
And of course they were in new Gens ,hence the term REMAKE

Well the amount of legendaries being released every gen is increasing and it really shouldnt, 1st gen only had 5 including Mew and whats so Legendary about the Pokemon when theres over 20 now and way more to come plus theyre not going to out do Pokemon they call gods like Arceus. Creativity is pretty easy for a fresh mind but most designers for Gamefreak are the same since gen 1 so they continue to try new things which is ruining it for hardcore fans, 1 and 2 were mostly designed at the same time hence the similarity in the look but when 3rd gen came they wanted to try new things same with 4th. I like a lot of different pokemon from all gens ( except 5th ) and imo once theres more, then people may finally have some variety with there parties cause at the moment half of them are never ever used except to fill the Pokedex

Apparantly they do. I guess the will NEVER Tire of seeing Gen 1-3 rehashed to death. Wonder what will keep him or her Entertained After Pokemon 3D & The Mods have progressed beyond his or her Liking lol.. Do I here HG & SS 3DS with Minorly new story line some extensions and oh maybe now they get a Magnet starter? IMO
