So yeah, when Pineco or other Pokemon with selfdestruct (It should be Self-Destruct by the way) use it on a ghost-Pokemon, the attack won't do any effect (which is intended) but the problem here is that they won't be able to perform the attack, so they don't faint or lose HP at all.
