Not confirmed [Indev 0.53] Ground-Type Moves Affecting Flying-Types

I've been fighting wild pokemons in indigo plateau for a while, and noticed something happen twice already, apparently after a few tries pokemons can manage to land a ground type move on a flying pokemon.

What I expected to happen:
Ground type move used on a flying pokemon, supposed to miss.

What actually happened:
Doesn't miss on second attempt.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Encounter wild Rhyhorn.
2. Switch to Talonflame
3. Rhyhorn uses Magnitude, move fails (message indicating it failed to land)
4. Talonflame uses Bravebird, hits but doesn't KO
5. Rhyhorn uses Magnitude, move actually works and is super effective, Talonflame KO'd

I have the same problem except it is when I use a flying type against graveler and it uses bulldoze and yet can still hit me 1 even though im a flying and 2 even if I'm using fly. Same thing occurs after smack down is used I know it causes flying to be vulnerable to ground and knocks fliers out of fly and bounce but if fly is used again after smack down, bulldoze can still be used even if say my pidgeot is using fly which nothing should hit it except sky uppercut smack down etc.

Maybe it happens cuz of talonflame fire half type
Doesn't change the fact that, in the original game ground-type moves are supposed to be totally uneffective against a flying-type pokemon, a pokemon using magnetic flight or wielding a balloon; kind of how a ghost type pokemon is unaffected by normal or fighting-type moves. The only way that pokemon would have to hit Talonflame would've been if it used Roost, which was not the case in either situation where I've encountered the problem.
