if i may make a suggestion so as to optimize your flying type party. swap ALL BUT ONE of your normal flying with:
gligar/gliscor(ground/flying)
murkrow/honchkrow(dark/flying)
pelipper(water/flying)
xatu(psychic/flying)
delibird(ice/flying)
archeops(rock/flying)

aside from gligar/gliscor and maybe archeops, all the pokemon i listed are bird body-types and offer a better advantage type-wise than normal.

it is just a suggestion and i don't mean to disregard your choices

I like the half of Snoe's options and half of Flakner's upgraded team. And he won't swap Pidgeot.
I would suggest this:
Pidgeot, it's the Falkner's main Pokémon.
Staraptor, with Close Combat, useful against all flying types weakness except electric.
Skarmory, it's a great physical wall.
Gliscor, he can destroy electric types with Earthquake.
Honchkrow, combining it's hidden ability and great physical moves it can hit hard a lot of teams.
Xatu, it's hidden ability is very useful in all kind of battles.

Alright, after using both advises my new upgraded team would look like this:

Although I dislike using Black/White gen. pokemon I will still use Archeops for the simple reason that a Rock type can easely defeat electric Pokémons.
Plz let me know if someone has further advise.

If you were a true pokemon player you would know that lower evolved pokemon learn abilities faster than it's evolved state, so it may be weaker, but it is getting better abilties faster.
