The server shut down it self to prevent damage to the disks. No repsonse from the server at all. Hardware reset resolved the connection issues. After 3 hours of investigations to the disk issue we got the disk to respond again. After a quick disk check it looks good to go, connected disk again. Started VM and it is up and running again.
