Re-battling Legendaries

I played all the way through the game almost a year ago and loved it.I stopped playing since there was nothing else to do in relation to the story(beat cerulean cave,seen the 3 legendary dogs etc.),but i never got to battle Mewtwo(it wasn't an option back the,it was only implemented recently).I recently played again since i wanted to capture mewtwo(i saved my masterball for mewtwo and i was really dissapointed when i didn't fight him),but i've already played through the story,so to capture mewtwo i would have to delete my character and start all over again(something i would have to do again if they update the game with more story i've already beaten).So could anyone who has beaten cerulean cave(also,the sevii islands and suicune too.I can't capture mew anymore and if suicune becomes obtainable in the future i won't be able to catch it either) get another chance at capturing mewtwo without having to start a new game?

I talked with Darkfire & Nilllzz about this quite some time ago, and they said that they would not implement respawning of legendaries after beating the E4 like in the official games. So unless they changed their mind, it won't happen.

That's true. it may caused to duplicate some of legendary pokemon

Well,it wouldn't be necessary to duplicate them.Can't the game just check if someone has defeated X trainer in the story(say the ''boss'' at the end of cerulean cave) and doesn't have the legendary defeated/captured(in the cerulean cave example it would be mewtwo) he gets to fight again?

Complete the game. go back to cerulean cave and catch mewtwo.

Have you tried it?Because i did and he isn't there.The first time i got through cerulean cave i didn't fight mewtwo since it wasn't implemented yet.Now that it is,i can't because he already fled the cave.

did you try to solve mystery in power plant or go in five island to beat the team rocket?

Of course and i did,i already said so.You need to solve the powerplant mystery to get to mewtwo,and i have visited the sevii islands,fought team rocket and returned.

No actually,i fought the cerulean cave boss battle,and didn't get a chance to fight mewtwo(he just fled without a fight) before v0.53(the version that you are able to fight mewtwo,and the second most recent)-last summer- and i had,and still have 10 badges.I dunno why though,should i have 16?

After that story line where you need beat Mewtwo you need collect 16 badges and then you visit Cerulean Cave again for capturing Mewtwo.
