So I after looking through the wiki, I found that headbutting outside of battle has been introduced. So after getting the TM from the guy in Ilex forest I spent about five minutes headbutting the bush next to him. During that time I ran into wild Butterfree, Noctowl, Exeggcute. I didn't catch any of these, however when checking my Pokédex, I found that they hadn't been added to the "seen" number, neither did they appear in the Pokédex itself.
