true but I think that sticking with the original idea for the seviis is good
it also allows you to gate the content by restricting the player from going to the next island until they've done whatever they have to do (i assume get a badge of some kind but probably save the town before doing it). once the player has fly the boats are not a problem anymore, they can simply fly between islands. so yeah, probably for the best

that fiore place, i dont even know what game its from :\ but if it were really on the other side of a mountain range from johto, you could have the cianwood/safari zone area caves branch off to go there, and you go under ground and emerge in that region
Fiore is from 1 of the ranger game I believe

its the region from ranger one(almia = 2 oblivia = 3)
the games were very different from the normal games but we could adapt the region to normal playing and just have a large side quest over there

According to Bulbapedia, it's not... apparently:

Fiore (Japanese: フィオレ地方 Fiore-chihō) is the setting for the Pokémon Ranger videogame. Its name isItalian for "flower". It may be somewhat close to the Sinnoh region, since it was stated in-game that Sinnoh was the closest region to send the Manaphy Egg during the Manaphy event.

well lets just ignore that :p
it would not be hard to move it(I think I am any ways)I don't like how sinnoh is placed
I think instead of being an island it should be connected at the bottom
I'm going to go to sleep(its almost five am :/) and will mess with it tomorrow

Yeah & Agreed.. Adaptability & side quest could be interesting & keep the game going much in the way B2/W2 expanded impressively well on the original B/W

heck If we are willing to do all this why not make it so when you finish the main storyline you become a pokemon stranded on a beach and are able to talk to other pokemon. Then a certain pokemon befriends you and talks you into joining a pokemon guild together with him. Then together you both discover the hidden plots by an evil pokemon from the future who tries to destroy the world. :joyful:

That seems waaay too reminiscent of the Pokemon Mystery dungeon games and definitely a bit too silly and Farfetched ( No puns intended ) and frankly those game sucked & I believe the regions were unnamed :bored:

I like this new map you've made Darkfire. the closeness of Kanto and the Orange Islands gives the potential for a long ocean route... Perhaps it could be made up of rapids like the one seen in Hoenn on it's route 134... For reference:
